10:35 - Update 6 - Thanks for checking in with the website tonight.  The NERIC guys who keep track of our web traffic have noticed that our number of hits goes off the charts during these events so I know you are watching.  I hope you enjoyed all the amazing pictures Annika took.  The dance was another great success and everything went well.  We did not even have a fire drill this time. Congratulations to the Junior Class for hosting this event.  I look forward to the Winter Ball which has become the social event of the year.  Have a good night and enjoy this last set of pictures.  Batch 6
10:20 - Update 5 - I think there is just about the best dance photo ever in this latest group.  Annika caught Nate Marshall showing off his moves and one her snapshots is simply amazing.  Mrs. Gardiner played it smart watching the side door in the gym because now the kids are  dripping wet with sweat.  They are still on the dance floor.  Right now the "Love Shack" is playing to a packed dance floor.  I will have one final update in a few minutes and that will be all for tonight.  Batch 5
9:48 - Update 4 - Another great batch of pictures with some traditional line dancing and a little slow dancing.  As you can also tell from some of the pictures, it is very hot in the gym.  I think all the students will welcome the cool air when they leave. It is also good to hear that despite the fact the students like current music AC/DC still packs the dance floor.  "You Shook Me All Night Long" will outlast us all.  Batch 4
9:41 - Update 3 - There was a lot of screaming when the winners were announced and I think I agree with the decisions.  Rodney Davis was the winner followed by Michael Ryan . You will see them in the pictures.  There were many other great costumes as well and the judging was difficult.  I have another 100 pictures or so from Annika. In fact, she's burned through several batteries already.  The memory card was hot coming out of the camera because she is working so hard.  Batch 3
9:12 - Update 2 - I know it has been an hour since the first update but I cannot get the camera way from Annika.  She's gone crazy tonight.  She already has over 200 amazing pictures of the great costumes.  She's getting better with every dance and I don't know what I would do without her.  Here is one set of pics.  I will have another in 5 minutes or so.  Batch 2
8:12 PM - Update 1 - This may be the longest line I have seen for a dance at the school in some time.  Just about everyone arrived as the doors opened at 8:00.  Mr. Sandvig already has the music blaring and there are many great costumes you have to see to believe.  Stay tuned for Rodney Davis - you will not believe your eyes.  For now I have some decorating and getting ready pictures.  Batch 1
9/22/06 - It is the first dance of the school year and the theme this time id "Hollywood Nights".  Students are encouraged to dress at their favorite celebrity and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.  The doors will open at 8:00 P.M. and no one will be admitted after 8:30 without prior approval from Mr. Breault.  The dance will end at 11:00.  Check out this page for highlights throughout the night.  Dance photographer Annika Peterson will be on hand to help catch all the costumes, dance moves and smiles.  This promises to be a great way to start the new year.
