CLASSROOM RULES & MARKING PROCEDURES

2005-2006

  MR. LARRY BROWN- BUSINESS EDUCATION

 

  CLASSROOM RULES:

  1. Students will arrive on time.
  2. Students will be prepared for class with all necessary materials.
  3. Students will raise their hand and wait to be called upon before speaking.
  4. Students will listen and follow directions the first time they are given.
  5. Students will show respect for others.
  6. Students will not deface school property.
  7. Students will not eat or drink around the computers.

 

Consequences for failure to follow rules:

1.  Warning

2.  Detention

  1. Student/Teacher Conference
  2. Referral to Mr. Breault, Principal
  3. Conference with Parent

ABSENCES:

  1. Students are responsible for completing assigned work.
  2. Students must check with the teacher on the day they return from their absence to obtain the work they missed.

  MARKING PROCEDURES:

  1. Grades will be determines on the basis of total points earned by the student during the course, expressed as a percentage total points available to be earned during the course.
  2. The point value of each quiz, project, presentation, review, homework, and test will be announced as it is assigned.

  MATERIALS:

  1. A three ring binder.
  2. Pens and/or pencils.
  3. The appropriate textbooks and homework assignment.

  TENTH PERIOD:

I will be located in my room. Students who are having problems should utilize this time. Students will also be assigned to stay if they are failing or in danger of failing, if they owe homework assignments, or if there have been discipline problems.
