The Standing Ovation - March 26, 27 and 28, 2004 |
For
three performances, the students at CCS proved once again to be the
most talented in the area. The auditorium was filled almost to
capacity over the weekend for the performances of
"Mame". From the young 5th grader, Wade Ashline, to
the "old veterans", Mallory Wood and Maureen Davey, the
audiences were treated to some great moments. Once
again, congratulations to the students and especially Mr. and Mrs.
Breault and Miss Calnon for their hard word; and thank you to
the community which turned out in force in support of this annual
event. Great communities help make great
schools.

Unsung Heroes |
You
caught a glimpse of them with their black outfits and headsets.
You heard the shuffle of feet and props. You saw the light
show and heard the music. All of those elements were done so
professionally that all the actors had to do was...well...act.
Of course I am talking about the crew. Many students worked very
hard behind the scenes to make the musical such a success. They
do a great job every year and don't always get the flowers, the
standing ovations and the attention they deserve. So, from all
involved, "Thank You." Here
are a few behind the scenes pictures of the crew in action.
As for the picture featured here...well...Mr. Breault is to blame.

Once Upon A Mattress

She was only in 8th grade at the time but Kayla
Ignaczak was the lead in the 2003 production of "Once Upon a
Mattress". Here is a
look at that production as well as glimpse of how the website looked
just about 18 months ago.
